HER Life Journey is a faith-based organization in Southern California dedicated to transforming the lives of women in recovery through comprehensive services. Our mission is to empower women who have faced homelessness, domestic violence and addiction. Through personalized peer support, financial & Biblical counseling, transformative beauty treatments and a continuous sisterhood of support, we aim to build their self-worth and independence so they may thrive and live a prosperous life built on Jesus Christ.

Statement
of Faith
At HER Life Journey, we believe that true transformation begins through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our faith is the foundation of everything we do—guiding how we serve, support, and empower women to walk in freedom, purpose, and new life.
1. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God — the ultimate authority for faith, life, and truth. It reveals God’s heart, His promises, and His redemptive plan for humanity.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” – 2 Timothy 3:16
2. God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer — full of love, mercy, and truth.
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” – 1 John 5:7
3. Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We believe that salvation is a free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, redeemed, and made new.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old life is gone, a new life has begun.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
4. The Holy Spirit’s Work
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers and guides believers to live a transformed life — producing spiritual fruit, renewing the mind, and enabling us to walk in obedience to God’s Word.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things.” – John 14:26
5. The Church and Community
We believe the body of Christ is called to live in unity and love, supporting one another in faith and good works. Through sisterhood, prayer, and discipleship, we reflect the love of Christ to the world.
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” – Romans 12:5
6. A Life of Transformation and Purpose
We believe every woman has a God-given purpose and identity. Through Jesus Christ, she is restored, empowered, and crowned with dignity, walking boldly as a daughter of the King.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” – Proverbs 31:25
